Help! I need an African, Caribbean or West Indian wedding caterer

If you are looking to inject a little cultural flavour into your wedding day food and so are in need of an African, Caribbean or West Indian caterer, this list is for you!

Lots of people asked me if I ate on our wedding day and the short answer to that is yes, yes, yes! I thought I wouldn't be able to but I managed to put away a full English Breakfast on the wedding morning. I also ate during the wedding breakfast although I couldn't manage dessert. I did not end up eating any of the evening buffet as I just wasn't hungry and was enjoying the party too much, luckily our caterer kindly did us a plate so we were able to have a feast the next day!

Food was a very important part of our wedding as we wanted it to reflect our Caribbean heritage. Here I have put together a list of the caterers I came across during the search and also ones that I have discovered since. For those of you looking for Afro-Caribbean, African or West Indian Caterers, I hope this is helpful!

If you have any to add, please leave a comment (or email me) and I will update the list.

N.B - This list is not an endorsement of services, it is simply my way of helping to make your wedding planning easier. This list of Afro-Caribbean caterers is something I would have valued when I was planning my wedding, to save me hours of trawling through the internet. I strongly recommend that you research your caterers thoroughly to make sure they are right for you and your wedding!
