Black Brides The Book: styling your day perfect!

During my journey with BelleNoirBride I have come to find that I am not alone in feeling that the black British bride is often forgotten in the mainstream wedding media. I recently had one of those moments when I heard about Beatrice Ayim, the author behind a new and very exciting book.Black Brides: The Book

Black Brides The Book is a directory for head to toe styling for Afro-Caribbean brides-to-be and is filled with 192 pages of pure style indulgence and product ideas to help you complete your perfect bridal look.

Written by Beatrice, a designer, personal shopper and freelance fashion journalist who has written for a variety of newspapers and magazines, the idea for the book was born out of her vision, to enable brides to be of colour to have the same exclusive access to see designer gowns on real black women.

This is undoubtedly what I love the most about this book, being able to see dresses from a range of designers including Charlotte Balbier, Amanada Wyatt, and Alfred Angelo on black models is truly exciting.
