Afro-Caribbean and African weddings sometimes tend to be on the large side, and so this narrows down the number of suitable venues.
Once you've set your budget and done your guest list, booking your venue should be next on your list of priorities. As when the you've got your venue you can go ahead with confirming your wedding date.
I recommend creating a checklist of what it is that you require from a venue and then using this to filter through all the venues you come across. This will help you to show-list and then come to your final decision. If of course one in particular venue hasn't screamed 'I'm the one' at you. I scoured the internet for venues and then requested brochures for lots of different ones, as annoyingly many places make you do this just to get the prices!
Here are just a few that I came across, I hope you find it useful, do let me know if you have anymore to add! I'm afraid it does have a distinct London bias I'll be working on adding more from around the rest of the UK as I come across them.
